Here's another exploration piece about gears, which I'm just practicing to colour since it is most likely to occur in my final product, so might as well. Besides that, the skull in green is done in green ink pen - Uni-ball Signo 0.5 Green pen, which I would say is quite nice to use. Anyways, here are the updates:

Finally completed with the hourglass, took me about one hour just to complete the bottom half! I was actually experimenting with water colour 'wash', but since I did not have any water colour at home, I used poster colour, which is not waterproof. Then, after diluting the paint and putting it on my paper, I realised my paper is not the special paper meant for water-soluble paints, so I practically screwed it up, and I had to hairdry the whole piece every time I finished one coat of paint, which resulted in an irregularly crumpled paper plus WASTED TIME. I'm not sure if you know what kind of 'crumpled' I'm talking about, it's like those times where you get caught in the rain and your notes and paper stuffs get wet, and then eft to dry. There's a picture anyways, but I doubt it's clear enough. Should have just left it as it was I guess...

Here's my 90% completed exploration. The white part, I need to ask my teacher how to colour glass? Which is kind of hard, since its usually transparent, and I don't have a background to show the highlights of the glass. I believe I'm going to have to use water colour, but unfortunately, I don't have any, so I must either wait for Thursday for its completion, or I will just complete it today. Haha, anyways here it is:

Yes, this is another on-to-completion exploration piece. This is my original idea, unless someone out there have already thought of this but I haven't seen it anywhere yet, so, I will just claim it as my idea for the time being. Haha, so if I complete this, I can say I will be proud of it. Anyways, its about an hourglass, with a earth in it, crumbling and disintegrating as it reaches the bottom half of the hourglass. This shows that as time flows, the earth is being destroyed. Get the chim meaning? Another genius idea MUAHAHAHA! Here's my current status (the picture doesn't look as good as the real one =.="):

Finally, I produced yet another exploration piece. Although it turned out to be nice, I don't really take much pride in it because it was a copied idea from DeviantArt.com. I wish I am able to produce nice exploration pieces, WHILE the ideas are all mine. Now, that is what I take pride in. Anyways, just for keeping track of my art, here's the exploration piece (done in 2B pencil - shading):
